I spent last Friday in Linköping. It has been almost 12 years since I was there the last time. This time I came for two reasons:

  1. To start working with a client on a new project which takes configuration management to a new and interesting level…
  2. To give a lecture on configuration management and the configuration manager role at Linköping University for students at the Master’s level.

Configuration management is more, not less important for agile software development.
